“I Only Know How to be Transparent”
“Life of a Clinician Series”
Here at The Transparency place, we showcase the human experience of Mental Health professionals while educating the public about their work and wellness. The purpose of the series is to bridge the gap between mental health providers and the community they serve. We want to refine clinicians by sharing their personal stories, struggles and victories. We offer insight into the realities of mental health work both rewarding and challenging. At the transparency place we are fostering open conversations. We aim to educate, inspire connection and create a supportive community.
“Life of a Clinician Series Snippets”
Check out a few snippets from one of the live seminars: Choosing yourself without Guilt: a Caribbean Perspective. In this episode, we collaborated with @counselorswho. We focused on the experience with connecting with clients from a Caribbean perspective. We stress the importance of understanding the cultural context that shapes how we relate, communicate, and build trust. We also focused on capacity. What do you actually have the capacity for? What are your limits? Knowing your capacity and honoring your limits is a part of choosing yourself without guilt. If you’re a clinician interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out. 🧘🏾♀️🧠📚✨ #mentalhealthmatters
